Oculibria is developing locally delivered therapeutics for diabetic retinopathy. Our programs are designed to address pathologic vascular signaling while supporting endothelial stability and retinal vascular health.
Approach
Diabetic retinopathy is a disorder of the retinal vascular environment, not simply the presence of a single excess signal. Oculibria is developing a focused therapeutic strategy intended to moderate disease-associated angiogenic activity while supporting vascular integrity.

Therapeutic activity is designed around disease-relevant biology, with the objective of providing biological control that reflects the local vascular state.
Complementary biology is incorporated with the aim of supporting endothelial maturation, vascular integrity and a less leak-prone retinal vasculature.
Disease focus
As diabetes places sustained stress on the retinal microvasculature, abnormal signaling, endothelial dysfunction and vascular leakage contribute to progressive retinal injury. Oculibria is pursuing a treatment state that addresses both pathologic drive and vascular stability.
The objective is not simply maximal suppression. It is to move diseased retinal vasculature toward a more controlled and stable biological state.
Pipeline
OL-001, OL-002 and OL-003 are research-stage programs being evaluated within Oculibria's ocular therapeutic framework. All three are currently in vitro, with preclinical development planned following successful validation.
